The ticking is crafted from wool, silk, and viscose, chosen for breathability and softness that condition the microclimate at the first point of contact, while the upholstery layers work in sequence to balance support, loft, and temperature regulation.
Beneath the surface, resilient British fleece wool regulates moisture, followed by the hand-opened Austrian horsetail whose long, crimped fibres resist compression and maintain loft. A transition layer of Real Shetland Wool blended with cashmere provides a finer, softer touch that moderates temperature, then a blend of Real Shetland Wool and organic cotton adds body and absorptive capacity. The pocket spring system features two layers of hand-nested, vanadium steel calico springs with 3,296 springs in King size, delivering independent support and minimizing motion transfer. The border is reinforced with coir and wool, four rows of hand side-stitching, and hand-tufting with woollen tufts to compress the filling into a stable, consistent depth across the surface.
